I generally keep all my cameras in the bag(s) I use to carry those system(s) BUT I live in a moderate climate AND have a heated/air-conditioned house.

Mine is normally in the bag that I'm going to use the next day. Or else where I put it down the night before. Humidity isn't an issue where I live, so I take no special care.

I keep mine in the bag except when in use, otherwise the little gremlins (read Kids) may do fun things with it!

I keep camera accessories in my bag(s). Pictures of interior of camera bags are not very interesting, so the cameras stay out.

I keep mine in the camera bag all the time unless I'm shooting something with it. It's been like that for the past 5 years and nothing bad has happened yet.

All my gear is always in my bag when I'm not shooting!

All of my kit lives in one of my bags most of the time unless I'm being lazy and have left it on a table or it is still attached to a tripod set up somewhere.
