Default Panasonic SR1 HD video recording

OK I have a silly question I am purchasing a Panasonic SR1 which can record video in HD. It looks to me like it doesn't have an HD output so how do you get the video out of the camera in HD?

brooke-

I think you are interested in the ZR1, not the SR1. For video you just download it like your still photos. An inexpensive chip reader would be the easiest way to accomplish this.

Yes you are right I meant zr1. OK so I would just download the video to my computer. The only thing an hdmi outlet would enable me to do is hook the camera up to my HDTV and play the video directly?

And another yes, the HDMI cable is an accessory item that you pay for. It does not come with the camera.
