Default Help with downloading pictures

Hello all! My question is more tech-related than photography-related, but I'm not sure where else to turn for help. I have a Sony A100. When I connect my camera to my computer and try to view/download the images, I get an error message that reads "Can not find script file E:\ ANGELA.vbs" I contacted tech support for my computer, but they said it was a peripherals issue and not computer related. Does anyone know what is going on here and how I can solve this?

Thanks for taking the time to help a newbie out.

Angela

See http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_98642.htm

I think you've got a virus.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. My name is actually Angela, so that name isn't coming out of nowhere. Does that change anything, or do you think I just happen to have a virus that shares my name?

I believe it'a an amazing coincidence that you happen to suffer from a virus that shares your name, but I do think you have a virus. In this instance, somebody's little joke on the world is a little more cruel than usual.

Thanks a bunch! I'll work on trying to get rid of the virus, then. I suppose that if I have to be afflicted with a virus it might as well be one with an amusingly ironic (if confusingly frustrating) name.

a couple of thoughts your camera software is corrupt use revo uninstaller to remove it and then re install
can you connect the memory card to a reader
failing all else get picasa and use that to down load
