The point photographing "watches" is not have reflections on the glass on them. So this is mostly about both your cam's features and the adjustments you made.

I advice Canon A 60, since it's in the price range you asked for and has lots of manual adjustments, and a great macro mode.

For watches and other small items, you want a camera with a good macro mode. Any member of the Nikon Coolpix line would be great. $200 isn't a whole lot, but the Nikon Coolpix 2100 retails new for $199. That might be your best bet.

The other very important thing when photographing watches is the lighting--watches have a lot of reflective surfaces and they can be a nightmare to photograph well. Be prepared for a lot of trial and error once you get your camera.

Good luck!
