Default Panasonic - DMC FZ35 - Macro mode

Hello ,

After following a lot of discussion , I finally got my FZ35 ( very excited ).
I have been testing a few modes , it is Ok at the moment . I hope to improve with more practice . I have a few very basic questions if you don't mind . When do you use the MACRO mode from the mode dial , and when do you use the AF flower sign from the AF/AF flower sign/MF button when you want to take macro pictures of flowers ? Is there any difference ? And I think I got too excited and pressed too many buttons , is there a way I can reset the camera back to what it was when I first received it ? Sorry about these "dummy" questions .Thanks

Emily-

Welcome to the Forum. We're please that you dropped by.

Congratulations on your purchase of a new Panasonic FZ-35 camera. Both Macro Modes that you discuss are the same. One is accessed directly and the other is contained among the FZ-35's Scene Modes. Page 70 in your Owner's Manual discusses Macro shots.

Yes, you can reset your camera to factory defaults rather easily. See page 35 in your Owners's Manual.
