Default Help on Canon DIGITAL IXUSi needed

Hi to everybody,

i have bought a new Canon DIGITAAL IXUSi camera after i have used a SONY 3MP camera for more than 1 year.

Now with this new digital camera (IXUSi 4MP) i'm very in difficult to do good photos also with no zoom (IXUSi has only 5.7x digital zoom). I have tried to set all the parameters but results are very very poor.

Can somebody help me to understand this camera and to understand how to have good pictures?

TIA

Flavio

If your camera only has digital zoom, then yes you will probably be disappointed with the results. To me digital zoom is pointless. All its doing is blowing up the picture (ie: the pixels) and making it more grainy. If your unhappy with it, take it back. Cause your not gonna beable to fix digital zoom problems unless you dont use the zoom at all. :?
