Default sony nex f3

Hello, just wanted to get some help on how to use the ios setting better on this camera and how to use it to its full potential.

IOS?

Do you mean ISO?

If so, there are three factors that affect exposure:
  • Aperture - The amount of light that is allowed to pass through the lens.
  • Shutter Speed - The length of time the image sensor is exposed to light.
  • ISO - The sensitivity of the sensor to light.
In general, you should leave the ISO at its lowest setting of 200, and adjust the shutter speed and aperture to get a properly exposed photo. You really only need to adjust the ISO when there isn't enough light to get a proper exposure with the aperture and shutter speed that you want or are limited to.

The ISO Auto setting allows the camera to vary the ISO setting as necessary, much like it does for aperture and shutter speed.

lol my big fingers lol i meant iso sorry :P thanks you for the info its very helpful i appreciate it i have been taking a few photos in both low light with the flash bouncing off the roof and a few outside shots with alot of sunlight and useing macro with taking shots of my bird they have come up really well.
