Default Videos have a halo, what am I doing wrong?

Hi-
I am trying to make videos of RC planes and the quality is not near what I see on the web. There is this weird outline around the planes also. Can one of you experts take a look at a sample video please?

Camera: SJ1000 action cam
Card: SanDisk microSDHC
Res: 720/60fps
Zoom: all the way in
HDI: off

Sample:https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v...type=2&theater
Thanks

The "halo" is from oversharpening. It appears around the plane as well as between the treetops and the sky. It happens when the camera tries to oversharpen high-contrast portions of the image. If you can adjust the "sharpness", turn it down a little.

Thanks I will look for that feature and turn it down. I wonder if the sharpening is a result of using full digital zoom?

Digital zoom would certainly exacerbate the halo. Compared to still images, video has a relatively low resolution to start with. Digital zoom magnifies the image and all of its inherent flaws.
