Default should I buy a factory refurbished A70?

Considering buying a factory refurbished Canon A70 (my first digital camera) and was wondering if this is a wise decision?
Comes with warranty fwiw.

Thanks

The A70 is a current camera and often refurbished current models are cameras that were returned without use. It is a crapshoot, but Ive generally had good luck with factory refurbished stuff in this case that would be Canon factory refurbished with a Canon warranty. Probably comes with a 90 day warranty, but you will find any lingering problems in that time.

Thank you for the insights slipe...makes me feel a lot better about considering this option.
The Camera actualy comes with a 1 year factory warranty, so feel pretty good about that as well.
