Default For a Olympus C740--How Do You Capture and Crop w/Dig Zoom?

I'm feeling a little lost. I can click and shoot. I know how to use the dial for night-time shots, panoramic shots etc. But what I'm having trouble with is this:

Say I do the full optical zoom, but in the end I still want to get a bigger, closer shot. So after taking it I set the camera to "reviewing" my shots, I come to a particular picture I want to enlarge even farther. I can do it with the zoom button, and see just the frame I want to capture with the digital zoom.

Now......how can I keep that zoomed frame, and save it that way?

Well, I got a step closer to answering my own question. I guess it has to be done through the Camedia program, not on the camera itself.

By accident I managed to stumble onto getting my pictures over to the place where you can fix them to suit you. THEN you can save it that way.

But don't ask how I did it. I may not find my way back there ever again.
