I chose the A1 for a few reasons

Anti Shake
Mechanical zoom
Great ergonomics
low light AF

I agree that these features are nice, but Fuji have 6 megapixels, and mutch better movie mode

It's always so hard to make right choise...

I've never used the movie feature on any digi camera I have ever owned. Never used the still camera feature on any camcorder I've owned either. The A1 is the most feature rich 5MP camera out there. The Anti Shake is really nice. Handheld shots that would normally need a tripod is fantastic. A real zoom ring instead of the W/T button mashing is such a pleasure. I'd trade the unnoticeable 1 MP of resolution for the superior feature setof the A1 any day. The 7000 is supposed to have some serious low light AF issues as well.

Yeah but the 6megapixels from the s7000 looks so bad even 3 GOOD megapixels owns it ...

Secondly I was considering the c-765, s1 is and s7000... the a1 and a2 is totally in another league.

The SuperCCD of the s7000 is crap, it's also 1/1.7" in size and the camera only have iso 160/200 and 400... (and 800 if you uses 3mp).
The A1 got a 2/3" CCD and has iso 100-800. It's obejctive is 28-200 which is much better than 35-210 of the s7000.
