Default How to get a good print on my inkjet?

I've had my Canon S330 for a few months now and I'd like to start making some prints of the pictures I have taken. I've tried using the program that comes with the camera to make printouts - but it ends up washed out. Is there a good faq somewhere I can review? I'd also like to get a basic understanding on post-processing the picture before printing it. I have Photoshop and other tools at my disposal..

with the 900 you need to goto printer properties and set it for digital camera, use epson photo paper, shoot top jpep res with digicam, do not use digital zoom or inlarge pic after taking. have had real good luck with 900 myself using generic ink. if you need more help u2u me and will give it over phone, takes to long to type, quick couple of min on phone.
