Default nikon 775 refurbished

I am looking to buy my first digital camera. I want it for general photography and for use with EBAY. Will it do good close up work. Also why are there so many refurbished 775's on ebay?????

Hey...I own a Nikon CP700...it was my 1st Digital Camera. I loved it! Nikon's Digitals are known for great macro photos. (close up work) re: Specificly the 775. I can not comment...on it nor why there are soooo many of them on ebay. All I can say is...If your willing to buy from ebay...can I suggest an alternative? Try Nikons Web Site...under Nikon Mall...they have Manufacture Re-Ferbs and prices are very good...Good Luck!
