Default Question on LCD screen??

I just got myself a Sony DSC-P9. I noticed that when I am trying to shoot a picture, I noticed quite a few pixels showing up on the LCD screen. That is, the image is not as crystal clear and "noiseless" as opposed to after the picture is shot and viewed from the LCD screen of the camera. I hope my question is clear here.

Is this normal and all digital camera behaves the same way? Thanks for your help. This is the first digital camera and I just want to make sure everything is fine.

It is normal, especially if you are moving the camera around a bit, not to see a perfect rendering of the image.

But it should be pretty good. I don't have your model, but a different Sony, and mine is usually pretty clear.

I hope someone who has the P-9 can weigh in here and give us an idea of how it looks on theirs!
