PoWeRfuL ?? :?hehe

Take a look at Bracket mounted flash (Potato masher style)in Metz (like the one in my avatar) and Sunpack

(But if you are looking for TTL control in third party flash, it's nota simple story)

The Sigma EF 500 DG Super is equivalent to the Minolta 5600. Newer units (serial no. 6xxxxx or greater) are fully compatible with the DiMage Ax flash automation.

The Sigma is about half the cost of the 5600.

METZ MECABLITZ 45 CL1 is the entry model of Metz series 45: GN45 (45 meters, at 35 mm wide coverage angle)

CLx are successors of CTx, same characteristics, but safer triggering voltage then CT series (my CT1 is a high trigger voltage)

CL1/CT1 offers NO TTL possibility (no adapter)

CL1 offer you 5 auto settings ( F/2.8, 4.0, 5.6, 8.0, 11) , plus only one manual FULL power setting.

Look here for more info:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...#goto_itemInfo

It's among the best flash you can have . You can use it in manual mode, or auto mode , But no chance for ttl control ( or ADI )

Compare with the brand new price and judge . Pay attention to what is included : wide angledifuser? alkaline battery rack? or Nicad rack plus charger? Horizontal bracket should be included (see my avatar)
