Default Beginning Photography primer

I hope I'm in the right forum to ask such a novice request, but can you kindly point me to a link where I can d/l a beginer photography book or PDF file?

I've been shooting videos and photos for a while but I always having trouble adjusting myself with AE exposures and speed and ISO so I need to get back to the basic.

Thanks.
