You can't link to your hard drive...if you want to link an image you'll have to have the image stored online at a web address.

HOWEVER, if you just want to attach an image from your hard drive, when posting/replying to a message you'll see a small box below the main message window with a "Browse" button...THIS is the area for attaching images from your hard drive. The downside of this method is it will appear at the bottom of your text.

I should know the answer to this, but I don't.

Here is my observation: Even if you attach a photo that is within the file size requirements (250kb or less), if it's too large (pixel dimensions for width x height), it won't display.

Your photo was very large. You'll most likely need to downsize it for it to display. Personally, I've found that around 533 pixels wide works well (fits well into the forum posts, without stretching them wider).

I don't know what the exact size limit is (some users do post images much wider than 533 pixels, but there is a limit to the size somwhere).

There are lots of places where you can post photos online.

FYI, I use clubphoto.com but there are LOTs of online photo hosting sites.

Some are free, some cost you a little money.

You may want to visit a local camera store and they could help with getting setup online.

Welcome to the forum,rezajune

Here (below) isa photo salute to Navy Town, USA (and rezajune) .

Is this what you are trying to do?

The way you were trying to do it as an attachment the first time around should work just fine (using the browse button below the entry box when posting a reply).

The file size was also fine. The problem is that it was simply too large (pixel dimensions). Hereis your image downsized to 533 x 95. Great photo!

I just didn't want to look like a fool, because it looks like everybody knows how to do it. I just wished that the help section would give some examples or a "how to" guide to attach images,,...its not like images are important at all in these forums you know.....

dont' be stupid:Pwho you calling stupid!!!
