Default Canon A40 vs Kodak DX 4330?

:P Alright time to get more specific. I've got my choices narrowed down to 2 cameras, one a 2 MP and the other is a 3MP, the price difference is around $100.

Here is what I would use it for. Mostly, to put photos on my websites. This would require taking photos of objects very close up. However, I also want the option of being able to print out great quality photos suitable for framing, etc. Probably won't use 8X10's very often but I might (4X6 and 5X7 for sure). My next purchase will be a photo printer after the camera. I am also very interested in the movie mode option.

The 2 cameras are:
Canon A40 (2MP)
Kodak DX 4330 (3MP)

If you own either of these cameras, how do you think they would perform for my purposes?

I am a complete newbie to the digital camera world. I am looking at the Kodak 4330, Cannon A40, Fuji2800, HP812, and the Fuji3800.

I was leaning toward the 3800.

To be honest, I have no idea what I am doing.... I would like advice also.

I will be doing about the same things you are... website occasional printing of a pic...

You should take a hard look at the Sony P2. I just bought one for my girlfriend after 2 months of looking at all sorts of cameras. I just happened upon it. Doesn't get much press.

You can find it online for about $330. It has an "email mode" which records a low-res and high-res picture at the same time. Also it has a movie mode with sound that is only limited by the capacity of you rmemory stick.
