i bought sony dsc p-43 last week and notice that there is a bubble like image in some of the pictures that i have taken. is there something wrong with my camera or what?im a newbie here pls help.thanks..

Are you sure that there wasn't something floating in the air, like a lot of dust or something? Flash return from floaties will do this kind of thing...

i think there's none obstruction or something.here is another picture taken with the same camera.do you think the camera has a defect.

It's caused when the flash reflects off of dust or smoke particles in the air.

BTW, it's usually not a good idea to post the same thing in more than one forum (this is commonly referred to as cross posting). Otherwise, users may not see other responses before posting (since they may not realize that answers to the post are in another thread elsewhere).

Well, there is no way to prevent it, other than not taking flash photos in an environment with any smoke or dust in the air. Some camera may handle it better than others (subcompact models with the flash located close to the lens are more likely to encounter it). It's a relatively rare problem.
