Default I am in need of a compact Digitial Camera

Basically I want a party camera, something small enough to carry around in a pocket but still take quality pics. I have no intention of printing pictures so that isn't an issue for me.
I've been looking at several models on cnet.com and dealtime.com (and I am open to suggestions):

What would be the best camera out of this lot:
Minolta Dimage X
Casio Exilim EX-S2
Sony Cyber Shot DSC-U20
or
Canon s200
Now I've found all of these for less than $240 (and I can get the Casio for $175)

But as always I tend to upsell myself and I am wondering if I should spend the extra money and buy either the:
Minolta Dimage F100
or Pentax Optio 330RS
Price range on these are less than $350

Also if anyone knows of any deals on these cameras (or coupon codes) please share.

Many thanks in advance

If I wanted a small camera I'd look no further than the Dimage X

The Dimage X will more than fit the needs you describe.

I would choose a camera that has some sort of focus assist as many parties have poor lighting. This is where many digital (and 35mm) cameras fail when their autofocus systems cannot find anything bright enough or contrasty enough to focus on. Yes, a digital allows you to review and retake a picture if it's blurred, but some moments are not repeatable (Kodak moments ;-) Also a variable ISO might help for non-flash shots. Look for both of these on the camera you end up with.
