Default Bad developed pics

I submitted some pics from this site for 3 of the canon's, the s330, s30 and s40 to see which I liked better after developing.. All of them came out really bad!! I took the pics directly from this site and just saved them and sent them in. Did I do something wrong?? I have to decide on a camera soon and with this quality it is non of the above!!

Any help appreciated!!

thanks

Did you get the full-size pics, or the 800x600 ones? Your print quality will be greatly reduced and not representative of the camera tested if you don't get the pic with highest resolution.

Default More info

OK, at pbase.com I have the original pic and a scanned version of what I got back. Userid mtfisherim, album cam-test. From what I see on this site the pics were 1600x1200. What suprises me now is that when I bring up the pic on the site it is larger than my browser window. But then I save it and bring it up again and it is very small!!?? If this is the actual size, then what happened was the pic was blown up from the small pic and came out bad?? Why was the pic small after I save it?? Would this happen downloading from the actual camera?

Thanks for the help

Default I see what happened

The file that I sent somehow was reduced to a 9k file from 525. When I save it now, it is fine!! I have now idea why the last time it was reduced to such a small file/pic. So they had to blow them up to make a 4x6 pic.

Thanks for the pinter to pbase too!!
