Sony P150 is $299 and lower on some sights. The SonyP200 is $320 on some sights as well.

Check http://www.overstock.com. I saw a Minolta g500 for $236 & an Olympus C7000 for $445 yesterday.

~Canon Powershots are great cameras! Take a look at the a95 it has alot of features that many higher end digital cameras have. It also has the tilt/swivel LCD which is very useful! Just my 2 cents.~

For the price, it's hard to beat the Panasonic FZ3.

Fuji Finepix S5100 - $299 and less.

Takes better pictures than anything in it's price range, including Nikon, Canon and Kodak. The color and focus is superb!

Sony's S90 or S60. They have80 ISO availible and have a right side side design change.

The shape is like of the nikons of last year. It's a 4mp camera with Manual control. (Apertures 2.8/5.6.)

& a dial on the top rightto accessall modes. :G

if you can find a panasonic fz1, you can flash it to version 2. then you are able to take infra-red pictures with an add on filter.
