Sorry -- that's it.

What size cards are they? Memory Cards are getting to be relatively inexpensive anymore (with xD PictureCard being the most expensive of newer card types).

So, I personally wouldn't base a purchase decision on this factor (especially if you've only got two cards).

256, I hava fuji which I am not using very often. My daughter wants a digi cam and I would like to have her use my cards since she is buying the camera herself and has very limited funds (less than $200).

I got my daughter a Nikon 3700 for $130 after rebate. She found a 256Mb SD card locally for $20 after rebate. For a total of $150 delivered she ended up with a nice little camera. The Nikon rebate is good only for 2 more days though. And the Office Depot Sandisk rebate ended several weeks ago. But there are enough good deals on memory that I wouldn't limit myself to a particular brand unless they have what you want in Oly or Fuji cameras.

Memory is getting less expensive as time goes on, too. For example, you see 1GB cards (both Secure Digital and CompactFlash) for under $100.00 now from many vendors. Personally, I'd find a camera I wanted first -- then, I'd shop for memory.

Where did you get the Nikon? Sounds like a good deal!

Go the review on this site (which you should read anyway), and click on the "all store offers" area.

It is indeed a good deal. At that price, there is no other camera that can touch it.

I just got a 256 Xd card for $39. The prices are really coming down now that Fuji has spread the manufacturing around. (SD now makes the Xd too.) Ritz has a sale on Xd cards now. A package of 2-32Mb's and one 64Mb (128Mb combined) for $39. If you're shooting different subject matter, this is a great way to "batch" your shots.

Forgot to mention:

Check to see which Xd cards you have. Fuji cameras can use either Fuji-Xd or Olympus-Xd but Olympus cameras can only use Olympus-Xd. It has to do with the panaramic feature on the Oly. At least that's how it was explained to me.

No, that's not true. Olympus can use any brand xD card. But in order to specifically use the panoramic mode in the camera, it has to be an Olympus brand. But software has come out to enable panoramic stitching very easily, so the brand of the card is virtually insignificant.
