Hi All,

I just got a new DSC W5 digicam... Its indeed a grrrrr8 camera... looking at the amazing features in a small compact pack and a huge (comparatively) LCD screen, I'm simply spellbound...:?:

But there's a small problem here... The vendor lost the "Read This First" booklet that is supposed to come along with the pack... And the user guide refers to this booklet left, right and center... I'm feeling kinda lost...

Can some body out there help out in this respect? Anykind of help would be highly appreciated, and I'll be heartly obliged to you. U can send me a link to the doc, if its available online, or if u can... then may be scan your own copy and send it to me personally... Any kind of help Pleeeeeeeeeease...
Thanks in Advance,
Mithun.

I don't think that this "read first" thing is that important. Everything is mentioned in the manual, too.

Besides this, Sony offers online manuals. www.sony.com -> service & support -> consumer support

Well... Yeah u r somewhat right...
Most of the things r indeed mentioned in the manual...
But still most of the basic stuff is there ONLY in the separate volume of "Read This First", which r repeatedly referred to in the manual...
And because I'm sort of a newbie with a digicam, I really want to read those basic stuff as well...
If u can help me get that separate volume... It'd be really a gr8 help...:G

Thanks & Regards,
Mithun.
