Default Canon PowerShot S30 Vs Fujifilm 3800

Hi all...

Need some advice as to which of the above cameras would be a better choice.

Picture quality is the first priority. Love the functions such as the 6x optical zoom and lens adaptor ring that are available on the 3800, but the sample pics seem a little less vibrant as compared to the S30?

Advise please!

Many thanks.

With pic quality and optical zoom my biggest facters if I was looking to buy today my choices would be:
Minolta 7 (refurb) $550-$600 5 maga, 7X optical.
Olympus 2100UZ (refurb) $450 2.1 mega, 10X optical "stabalized"
Fuji 3800

Goto steves reviews and read his conclution on these (also the s30) Also note what he says about viewing pics on monitors (mentioned in the Minolta 7 conclusion)

Good shopping,

If you can't find any sample pictures from a 3800 that tell you about color and saturation, etc, check out my 2800 pictures: same lens, same color balance as the 3800. The 3800 should be marginally sharper due to the 3MP CCD.
