Default Flash Bracket and Tripod

I have a Kodak 4800 and have inherited a flash bracket so I can use an external flash. For Christmas I received a Tripod, but I cannot figure out how to use both at the same time since there is only one "screw hole" in the camera.

Is there some way to mount the bracket on the camera and on the tripod at the same time?

The knob that screws into the bottom of the camera on the bracket should have a threaded hole in it. Any flash bracket I've used have them.

Thanks, mine doesn't -- but now I know what to look for (a new bracket!)
