Hi! I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on which would be better for concert photo taking!

I'd say the Nikon probably has the edge, as I believe it has lower noise at high ISO's, but the most important factor would be lens you used with the camera, ideally as fast as possible (low f stop number).

They both have a max ISO of 1600 I believe, so it's really up to the lens.

You can get Canon F1.8 50mm lens for $79 so maybe that will sway your decision.

Also, my opinion is that Canon's have less noise than Nikon's, all up.

The Nikon is probably the better sports photog camera.

I have the 300D and I love it. Don't forget the firmware hack that allows much more functionality for the 300D. It gives you ISO 3200, mirror lockup, etc. Here is a compairson between the hacked version the regular and a Rebel XT http://www.camerahacker.com/Canon/DR...mparison.shtml
