I am seriiously considering purchasing a D70 body. I have 2 Nikon lenses from my N90 days, a 24-120mm 3.5-5.4f and a 80-200mm - 2.8f. I understand these lenses will work finewith a D70. Is that correct?

What macro lens and flash do you recommend?

Thanks,

Bob

Those lenses will work fine although with a narrower field of view due to the crop factor. You'll gain on the telephoto end of the 80-200 but lose out on the wide end of the 24-120.

Nikon make the excellent 60mm and 105mm macro lenses and Sigma make a very good 50mm and 105mm. Which to go for depends on your budget and also the subject. All will give a 1:1 reproduction ratio so it depends on how close you can get to your subject.
