Hi,

Need some help...

I want to buy a 300mm lens, but i have some doubts... on the quality of the lens:

Which one is best?

1. Sigma 28-300mm DG F3,5-6,3 MACRO

2. Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO Macro Super II

The plan here is to have a good lens to take 300mm shots.

I don't know if this lens are good or not, but i would appreciate some recommendations.

You may want to check over at Imaging Resource and its companion site, SLRgear. com (http://www.slrgear.com/reviews/showcat.php/cat/31 ) They have a couple of reviews of the lenses you're interested in. Both have their limitations but may be very suitable considering what you want to photograph.

A really good lens might be the sigma 70-200 F2.8 lens.

With cropping factor, it's an equivalent to a 300mm lens in 35mm terms.

You can always get a tele extender to take it out further.
