You need to provide a bit more information.

For a start is it a PC or a MAC?

What operating system are you running?

What is the exact error message?

If you're using Windows XP you shouldn't need any drivers. When you plug in ypour camera and turn it on Windows should recognise it as a disk drive.

If you go to my computer does an additional disk drive show up when the camera is connected and turned on?

You need to completely uninstall the Kodak EasyShare software. It will prevent you from seeing your camera as a drive in My Computer. After uninstalling the Kodak EasyShare software, reboot the computer and then plug in the camera and turn it on. Windows XP should find it and it should show up as an external drive. Good luck!

I had a similiar problem when I bought my olympus e-300 - (looking at your error messages they were identical to mine) for some reason a file may not have been copied to your windows c:\windows\system32\drivers (why I have no idea but I did still have the file on the puter?) the file is for the USB mass storage device and called usbstor.sys if you do not have the file in the above directory have a look in c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\I386 if the file is in that directory copy it to the c:\windows\system32\drivers once this is done plug the camera into the USB port turn it on and enjoy :-)

If it is this above problem all the uninstalling and reinstalling and resetting cameras and computers will not do a thing believe me I was ready to throw the camera with frustration to find it was a microsoft problem
