ihave sony w5. 2 nimh battery cell of 1800 mph were supplied with box. now i find in the market nimh battery of different mph are available. my question is upto which mph i can go. can i use 3500 mph cell ?

That number is actually a rating of capacity (mili-amp hours or mAh.) So as long as the voltage/watts are the same, the mAh just means that it stores more power and therefor will last you longer. So you can always increase the mAh as long as the voltage/watts are the same.

Errm the voltage will be the same, the wattage will depend on the camera. Same camera, same voltage the watts will be the same.

I wasn't sure, and I certainly didn't want to make a mistake that would burn out the camera.
