hi just bought a camera (kodak p850) i researched it alot but i am stuggling to come over a few concepts, some basic terms of photography. Can some one explain to me basically what the following are and what type of photography they are specially used for and whether i need to ajust the for different shots:
What is :
aparture
shutter speed
ISO
and what is the point of bursts? and where can i use them?
for these can some one tell me when i can uses these i why some times these need to be altered. Thanks alot Red :?:?:-)

Not trying to take away anything from Steve's pages here - there is loads you can learn from this site - but you could have a browse on a few other digital photography sites too.

I have a site that is aimed at the beginner - take a look:

There's a section there on terminology that will answer a lot of your questions.

The web is a great resource, I'm sure you'll find answers to most of your questions by searching. And keepcoming back tosites like this one!
