I want to take watch pictures, but they aren't coming out right. I just bought a Canon Digital Rebel XT and am not familiar with the camera. What kind of lens should I buy? Here is what I have, did I buy the wrong equipment, if so what else should I buy?

Two of these lights and a 500W lightbulb.

A cylindrical shaped light tent, not really sure what kind it is as it was a gift.
A cheap tripod.

Should the default lens be fine, or should I upgrade to some kind of macro lens. Are my lights okay? What else do I have to do? Thanks.

All sorts of advice can be given for proper techiniques with shooting your subject. In my opinion it would be better to post what you have done and go from there.

Good Luck,

Jim
