Default question of compatibility sigma lens with motor in D90

Hi, currently am interesting to buy other lens for my D90. am interesting to buy sigma for nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 with macro with build in motor. but the thing is i don't know if this lens will fit to my D90. Am interesting due not only zoom also included macro, but what about build in motor?...please advise..thanks

The sigma 70-300 will work with the D90.

The one with the built-in motor is so it will AF on the D3000, the D5000, and the other entry level Nikon dSLRs without their own AF motors. Since the D90 has its own motor, that doesn't matter. Also, btw, if that's the Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro or the APO DG Macro you're talking about (as in, not the OS stabilized version), the Tamron 70-300 Di LD is better and cheaper. It's also available motorized or not, and it does 1:2 macro too.
