Question Thailand flooding affecting quality?

The floods have destroyed a lot of the camera and electronic facilities in Thailand. When the facilities are restored, how concerned are you about the quality?

I don't have any concerns about quality, as the major manufacturers have that part well under control They don't want any QC problems because it costs them money. ;-)

My major concern with the Thailand flooding is supply, particularly where some computer related components like Hard Disk Drives are concerned.

I've seen prices skyrocket on them since the flooding began, and it' likely to take the industry many months to recover.

I'm not worried about QC coming out of Thailand, as I bought everything I can afford to get six months ago. By the time I need anything new Thailand will be high and dry.
Comments always welcome.

dido I'm all out of funds myself for future camera gear for the long future. But I am loving my Pentax K-5; hot shoe flash, 18-250mm lens and batteries I bought.
