You can print it as large as you want - there will be no loss of quality at any size. Of course the imperfections that already exist will be magnified along with everything else.

So the real question is how large you can print without the imperfections becoming noticable/overwhelming. Beyond the pixel count, that depends on mostly on the amount of detail in the photo and the viewing distance. If it is going to viewed at about a quarter mile (roadside billboard) you can enlarge to something like 15x30 feet (5x10m). A photo of a foggy landscape can be enlarged more than a butterfly.

Thanks BillDrew. The person I sent the 2MB pic is happy with his enlargement, 10x12.
