Supposedly too this camera lets you shoot first then focus.

Now if they could only have a camera that always shoots perfect composition!

Oh! You mean that's my problem?

I think this technology came from astronomy research, impressive if it came to market in most brands of camera.

Incredibly cool, but very low resolution. Only around 1Mp. Awesome for Facebook though.

ROTFLMAO!!!

For so long, I resisted digital cameras. I really enjoyed the tactile stimulation of using my SLRs... Of course, it helped that they were really expensive, too. But, at the time, even if I'd had the money, I wouldn't've bought one. The whole process was very romantic, to me...

Now, after such a long hiatus from creative photography* and returning to it with a dSLR in hand, I must say I'm quite impressed with the photos that this thing can take! And it is just too easy to set the thing on Auto, when I'm unsure of which settings to use (I'm quite rusty) and I have a limited amount of time to get the shot.

I think it's very interesting that this camera in the article can be focused AFTER you take the picture. Technology is amazing... And Bob, someday it might automatically get the composition, too! Look at those cars that can parallel park all by themselves!

*I often had digital PNSs for taking day-to-day snaps of the kids and whatnot; but my art was created with either my SLRs, or my Holga.
