I've been away from the boards for almost a year and was very sad to learn of Sarah Joyce's passing. What a sweet lady to all of us newbies. I have printed out many of her tips and guide type posts and refer to them frequently. She always had a kind word and positive thoughts in guiding us. She will be missed.

Have been away from home (work and other travel) recently, and thus only noted this post on the forum now.

I'll add my sympathy to Sarah's family and friends (including all her Steve's / online forum friends here).

And I'll be thankful for her contributions in many ways. Reading the orbituary really makes her character and insight 'find a home'.

RIP, Sarah - and indeed my best wishes and prayers for Bradley.

When I first joined the forum I asked so many questions about which camera to purchase and Sarah was always the first to respond.
When I bought my Panasonic FZ35, Sarah's guide was my constant companion. She certainly touched many people with her friendliness and willingness to share her wealth of knowledge. Thoughts go out to Bradley and their family. RIP Sarah.

Just got an unnerving email from Sarah today. It seems her computer has been hacked and someone is sending out emails under her name to create havoc with you PC users.

Perhaps one of her family has inherited her PC and picked up a virus/trojan.

What do you mean 'us PC users'?

You're the one that got the message?

Well Im sure the way it works is, her computer gets hacked and everyone on her email list gets sent the same email with a virus, worm or some such stupid thing. It affects PC users only. It was just really strange getting the email from Sarah. Since she dealt with a lot of people from here Im just giving you the heads up. Take it or leave it. I dont have to pay to get your PC fixed.
