I really like the image size, means that my run of the mill laptop won't be over taxed processing them.

I normally take two cameras on the kayak
![]() A 400mm prime with my D800 for distant shots, and a Bigma with the 1DMrkIII for quick reaction to events that might come up... I don't have to carry them as the Nikon rest on the kayak shell with its big lens pointing down in front of me while the canon sit on my lap. -> The V1 with the 120-300 f/2.8 replaces the D800 in this case, and also like my D800, the V1 can tag GPS info on its images as well.
