Default The V1 goes for the moon ;)

Not a full moon, but I can't wait any longer...
Full frame with no cropping (i.e. 2160 mm)!!!

No it was from the Nikkor 400mm with the 2xTC on the V1...
The SigMonster only fits my Canon

The three 800mm options:
1. Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 (x.2.7) -> 324-810mm f/2.8 on the V1
2. VR 400mm f/2.8 (2xTC) -> 800mm f/5.6 on the D800
3. SigMonster (x1.3) -> 390-1040mm f/5.6 on the 1DMrkIII

Quite the impressive collection! The Sigma is aptly nicknamed I think I know which one I would choose for everyday 800mm.
