I have a Nikon 8700 and am very pleased with it except for one thing. What I see in the viewer does not match what I see in the photo. e.g. the exposure can vary greatly. It can look perfect in the viewer but be over or underexposed in the photo. Even if I use the histogram the real time graph does not match the photo graph. I have a Sony Mavica which always show the same in the viewer as in the photo.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting I can change?
