Has anyone else had battery problems with the P90? I LOVE the camera, had a P80 till it got banged up/took salt-water bath when I fell exploring tide pools on vacation. Insurance paid for replacement, so replaced it with the newer P90. Only had it for 6 weeks, still on vacation along the west coast and I've gone through four batteries, one new with camera (late Jul) and even bought another new spare (late Aug) and it's unuseable already. Have two chargers, after use in the P90, I put batts in charger and the blinking starts, but instead of a steady light indicating charged in 2-3 hours (like previously) it will blink forever, overnight, or until I turn it off. Put two newest batts on charger yesterday, took off at 6AM this morning, put them into camera and "battery exhausted" screen come up immediately. Really discouraged as we had reservations on a whale watching cruise off of Vancouver Island, BC this morning....
![]() Called Nikon, no place to take camera in northwest, have to mail it off and wait at least 3 weeks...so much for my vacation!! If anyone else has any insight or suggestions I would really appreciate it! Grumpy on the north Island |
