On a recent trip to St. Martin (Netherland Antilles) the "110" current in my hotel shorted out the charger for my Coolpix 5000 batteries. In the 2 other hotels I've stayed in on the island I had no problem. Would anyone know of an adapter or circuit breaker available to prevent this? I will be going again 6/04 with my D100 and the Coolpix. Thank you

James,
Sounds like you somehow got into 220 Volts. Were you using a european to US transformer adapter? Individual circuit breakers around 1 Amp(which is what you need) from electronic suppliers(check the web). You may have to wire one(it should be in series in one of the wires) into your power cord or make up an extension cord.
