Default Coolpix 4300 and CF card

Hi all,

I am planning to purchase a 4300 and an additional CF I, the capacity of which is yet to be deteremined. I'd like to find out from users of this model the following information so that I can decide how big the card needs to be. If there is an existing thread in this forum for this topic, please point me to it as I have searched for it and come up with nothing.

I'd like to know: for the three piture modes and under different resolutions, the number of pictures a 128 and 256MB CF I can store.

Default Mmmmmm...............

I have a Nikon 4300.....

I used Crucial 256 MB, Lexar 12X 256 MB CF and both they worked fine, I didn't see any differences in performance....

But now, I'm just using Lexar 12X 256 MB cards now.....

2272 fine 133 shots
2048 fine 162 shots
2272 Hi 21 shots (Manual Mode)

I just check my cam.........

It is realy a nice cam. This cam was the best I could buy with my money. I'm realy happy with it.

Hi, Am a Nikon CP4300 user also and I'll give it two dumbs UP. One thing you may need to consider will be the upgraded CF card. I've upgraded to 256M Toshiba and found that the timing of writing is a bit slow. Try to get other model instead of Toshiba. According to my friends SAN DISC and Lexar do well in writing.
