I notice that photos which i take at night are more sharper then the photos i take in afternoon .... Attached are the pix i took at afternoon & in night .... As i am new in photography can any body suggest is this the max result i can get from Nikon D7000 in afternoon or it can be more sharper then this and m doing some mistake ? Cat photo has following setting: Lens VR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G Focal Length : 75mm Focus Mode : AF-A AF-Area Mode : Single VR : ON AF Fine Tune : OFF |

I would first of all, change the AF-A setting for the cat shot. Go to AF-S and pick your focus point. The right of that shot has the most contrast and looks more in focus than the cat.
