Default Good CP4500 Repair Experience


I just wanted to let everyone know that
Nikon promptly and cheerfully replaced the
sticky multiselector button on my CP4500
that I wrote to the forum about last August.
My email exchange with Nikon Tech indicated
that this was NOT a problem they have been
seeing with the CP4500. They (and I also)
speculated that perhaps the boxed camera
was dropped or bashed at the
supplier or during shipping and this "broke"
the spring inside the button. (The corner of the
product box was bent up when the camera
arrived.) ANYWAY, I HAVE TAKEN OVER 500 PIX
SINCE THE REPAIR DURING SEPT and OCT
AND I'M AS HAPPY AS CAN BE WITH THE CP4500!

yeah my nikon button is still working. never had any problem. the spring seems good. lol
