Hello,I recently got a Nikon D3500 and wanted to know what are some must have lenses that I should consider getting. Currently I have the standard 18-55mm. I live in the UK, I'm hoping your recommendations are under £1,000.
Some examples of the pictures I would like to take are: usps tracking showbox speed test

G'day Tom
The 18-55 lens as supplied with your (& most) cameras is pretty much useless for most of the stuff you list above All I can say at the moment is that -if it were me- I would chase up a damn good 70-300 =or= a 100-400. An alternative used by others on other photo forums is the Tamron 18 to 400, and results I have seen show it to be a most useful lens (esp with a monopod for stability when over 250mm) Hope this helps Phil
