I'm using the Nikon TC-E2 which is a very good match and the Olympus B-300 which when coupled to the TC-E2 gives you about 527 mm equivalent and excellent picture quality. I'm less pleased with the EagleEye OpticZoom (which can also be mated to the B-300) because of difficulty in getting really crisp focusing. I've no experience with the SL-1 cool light; not sure you can even get it yet! Looks interesting for closeup flower pictures.

That is the exact reason I am looking at it for close ups on small Aust Native Orchids
