Default Nikon 5700, getting double images

Hello group: My problem is I've never been very happy with how this camera captures motion. Maybe my own stupidity. I've read the owner manual many times on how to advance the ISO in the folder set to capture motion. I'm not talking speeding race cars here, just someone walking across the yard.

I'll set the ISO at 400 and when I take my shot I'll see through the view finder that I had captured my subject without blur and frozen in place. But after the camera is writing the image to the card and I review it again I have a double image almost like a stop time elapse image. A faint ghosting of the subject. It's really not blurred, kind of like taking two shots in the same frame ( like what you did with a film camera by rolling the film back after your first shot and shooting again) Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong would be a great help.

I have the camera, and to be honest with you none of the Nikon camera's take good video shots including the DSLR D90. I found it to be grainy myself, and found a video camera the only way to go.

Needless to say, I am wondering about your memory card. Try the newer high speed ones and see if that helps. I have never had this double image problem your talking about.
