Thanks, Rey. How do you like your VR lens? I would buy myself one if it wasn't for the price tag. That's one nice thing about the K100...it has the image stabilizer in the camera so you pay for it once.

Nice shots. You might want to check your white balance when you are shooting indoors under flourescent light.The indoor pictures have a green cast.

Thanks for your comments, teleco. IMO, the D40 WB sucks big time (both AUTO and preset settings). Outdoor shaded areas turn blue with WB set to AUTO and brown'ish if WB is set to...SHADE. Indoors under fluorescentlight it makes the image lookorange (many of these images I had to "adjust" the WBbecause the tone was way off). I willchangethe WB next time as you suggested and see whathappens .
